Admission Process

Eligibility

Admission are open from Nursery to class-8 for session 2025-2026. Minimum age as on 1st July 2025 for each class is as stated below.

Registration

Any student wishes to seek admission to school must get his/her name registered at the school office. Each application needs to be accompanied with a non-refundable registration for the academic year and the class in which admission is sought. Form must be submitted to the school office within a week. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Schedule

Registrations for admission open from February every year. New class sessions begin from April.

Procedure For Admission

Admissions are a simple process here at GLV School. Parents appear together with the child for an interview and are assessed by a panel for the child's admission to the Pre-nursery section. For other classes students need to take an admission test. ln addition, we assess personality of parents and other factors as part of the admission process. The Principal has the final authority to approve admission following outcome of the test and interview.

Pre Primary Classes

Nursery, Kindergarten (LKG AND UKG) sections are planned to incorporate maximum activity based learning for almost all subjects including music, drawing, painting dance and selected major indoor and outdoor games of their age group.

Primary Classes (I-V)

Main subiects for these classes include English, Hindi, science' Environment studies' Mathematics' computer science, General Knowledge and Moral science apart from co-scholastic areas and other activities in a unified Program.

Middle Classes (VI to VIII)

English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Computer Science as main subjects with Moral Science and General Knowledge as additional ones. We include all co-scholastic areas and activities in terms of CBSE guidelines.

Documents Required At The Time Of Admission / Transfer From Other School

The following documents are required as a part of the admission procedure for every student applying for admission to the GLV Memorial Public school Rithora Bareilly

• Birth Certificate from Municipal Corporation (Play Group & Nursery)
• Original Transfer Certificate from Previous School
• Last Report Card from Previous School.
• Coloured passport size Photographs (4 copies for students and 1 copy each of father and mother)
• Adhaar copy of the child
• Proof of residence: ration card/voter Id/DL/Adhaar

Rules For Admission

• The application for admission must be submitted on the appropriate form' The school reserves the right to evaluate the child in any or all subjects.
• The school reserves the right to select or reject any application. The decision of the school authorities is final with regard to the granting or refusal of admission.
• Full quarter's school fees are chargeable for any withdrawal in the middle of a particular quarter.
• Seats will be reserved for the weaker sections of society as per the Government RTE Act in the Nursery section, subject to and in compliance with State Government orders when received.
• ln case supporting documents are found to be inadequate, the school management reserves the right to cancel the admission.

Withdrawal Procedures:

If, for any reason, you wish to withdraw your child from our school, it is easy to do so at the end of a term by giving a request in writing with reasons. At the time of withdrawal all outstanding dues must be cleared up as a precondition for issuing the school leaving certificate.
